Do you take walks in the woods, practice meditative silence in your private space, enjoy creative moments in your life to color, write or simply breathe? These pauses. These efforts to turn off the noise and listen to your nature and the peace around you is not only kind, it is requisite to your soul. Your pulse, your pressure, your breath all need it. Not speaking. Not clouding the mind with what’s going on everywhere but within is the beginning of peace. And it dwells within us all. We must simply make it a priority.
