Welcome!
I’m Dr. Abha,
I am a practicing Internist of 20 years. I graduated from University of Michigan with a degree in Internal Medicine 2001 and practiced Acute Care or Hospitalist Medicine for the ensuing 16 years. Come 2017, I joined a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) and turned to primary care of the underserved population. This has given me an opportunity to delve deeper into the prevention and identification of medical conditions that may be managed in advance of progression or an acute fallout. I have thoroughly enjoyed the relationships afforded me as a practitioner of primary care at a time when our population is in desperate need of time, mindfulness and sincerity. I approach my every patient with a willing ear and hope that through meaningful dialogue, we may arrive at goals that serve the patient’s most dire needs. This takes time and interest. I feel so very fortunate to be a doctor and hold it as the highlight of my life – serving the underserved.
Not everything that can be counted counts, and not everything that counts can be counted. Einstein
